Contributing

I am always on the lookout for well written articles, tutorials or reviews. If you would like to have a piece published on Corrosive Online then take time to read the guidelines below;

1. Any contributions should be entirely your own work. There are no exceptions for this.
2. Research your work as best you can. Make sure that what you are saying is correct. If you have doubts about any of it then say so in the piece. There is nothing wrong with admitting that you do not have ALL the answers but there is in pretending you do!
3. Write your piece in Plain English and try to avoid excess use of jargon or techno-babble. If you cannot avoid using some technical terms due to the subject matter then please indicate at what level you are aiming your piece. I.e. beginner, intermediate etc.
4. Please do not be offended if your piece is edited in some way. Only minor alterations will be made if any at all.
5. Spell check your work!
6. It often helps to provide images. Especially if you are covering a complicated topic. Screenshots and diagrams are extremely useful. Please provide any images in as small a file size as you can ('save for web' in Photoshop) and indicate whereabouts in the piece they should be included.
7. I respectfully request that you do not publish your piece anywhere else on the web for 28 days after submission to Corrosive Online.
8. You will not be paid for any contributions. What money is earned from this website is invested back into the site.
